Timothy ‘Tim’ Hettich was born on November 28, 1959, to Allen B. Hettich and Georgia Kallenberger in Aberdeen, SD. He grew up in Aberdeen where he attended Monroe Elementary School, Holgate Middle School, and graduated from Central High School in 1979. In high school he met Henry Horner and Craig Trego who he remained friends with throughout his life. He enjoyed time spent with Henry camping, fishing, and snowmobiling and farmed with Craig.

On June 1, 1981, Tim married Belinda Hale in Aberdeen. Tim worked as a truck driver. He drove a truck for Dependable Sanitation and Brown County Highway Department. His most recent job was at Bonn’s Express Gas Station.

Tim enjoyed attending the stock car races, fishing, camping, and attending the sporting events of children, grandchildren, and nieces. He loved his dog “Bear” who had a special place in his heart.
