Steve Thomas
Steve Thomas, 91, of Aberdeen, SD, formerly of Turton, SD, died Sunday, November 10, at Aberdeen Health and Rehab.
Steven Bruce Thomas was born on November 17, 1932, to Howard and Anna (Sondergard) Thomas. He grew up in the Conde area and graduated from Conde High School in 1950.
On May 27, 1951, Steve was united in marriage to Darlene Henrichsen. Steve was a lifelong farmer in the Conde/Turton Area. He also owned a small trucking business for a time. Darlene passed away on May 16, 1983. Steve continued to farm until retiring in 2016.
Steve was a lifetime member of the NRA and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, guns, working on cars, his cats, but farming was always his passion.
Grateful for sharing Steve’s life are his children: Trixie Thomas, Aberdeen, SD, Lowell (Lou) Thomas, LeHigh Acres, FL, and the late Toni Gunderson, Conde, SD; grandchildren: Rob, Torri, Heather, Derek, Shelbi, Brandie, and Michelle; and great-grandchildren: Hailee, Nevaeh, Alli, Bennett, Keeley, Rowan, Devonte, and Isaiah.
Preceding Steve in death were his parents Howard and Anna, wife Darlene, daughter Toni Gunderson, grandson-in-law Chad Lesnar, and siblings Bill Thomas and Jerry Thomas.
