Marlene Welsh

Marlene Welsh, 89, of Aberdeen, SD, died Monday, January 27, 2025, at Prairie Heights Healthcare in Aberdeen.

Marlene E. Heath was born on May 4, 1935, to Otis and Anna Maria (Sahm) Heath in Aberdeen, SD. She graduated from Aberdeen Central High School.

She married Robert L. Welsh in August of 1953, and they had a daughter, Pam.

Marlene loved to garden in her flower beds and playing the accordion.

Grateful for having shared Marlene’s life are several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Marlene in death are her parents; husband, Robert Welsh; daughter, Pam Welsh; and siblings, Evelyn (James) Thiery, Doris (Virgil) Miller, Richard (Irma) Zerbel, Loren Zerbel, and Emmett Zerbel.
