Lorrie A. Vance

Lorrie Ann Vance, 59, of Aberdeen, SD, died Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Doughtery Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.

Lorrie Ann Vance was born October 22, 1962 to Kenneth and Betty (Zumbaum) Vance in Aberdeen, SD. She grew up in Aberdeen and graduated from Central High School in 1980.

Lorrie worked a few job throughout her life including Super 8, a cook at Kessler’s and Hole In The Wall, a food bank in Denver, CO and an accountant at Harm’s Oil after returning to Aberdeen.

Lorrie enjoyed drawing, writing poetry and doing sudoku puzzles. She was a generous person and was always excited to buy somebody something off Amazon. She found great joy in spending time with her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Grateful for having shared Lorrie’s life are her mother, Betty Erwin; siblings: Steve Vance, Brian Vance, Scott (Sallie) Vance, and Lynn Hegge; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Preceding Lorrie in death are her father, Kenneth Vance; and sister, Kari Vance.
