Lorraine Beck

A private family burial will be held for Lorraine Beck, 91, of Aberdeen, South Dakota. Lorraine died Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Sanford in Aberdeen, SD.

Lorraine Beck was born on October 28, 1933, to John and Albina (Voegle) Rohrbach in rural Hosmer, SD.

She married Morris John Beck on October 11, 1953 in Ipswich, SD and had four children.

Lorraine loved gardening, cooking, baking, embroidering, camping, and her family.

Grateful for having shared Lorraine’s life are children, Morris (Ardis) Beck, Linda Beck, Wayne (Sharon Schwan) Beck, and Cindy (John Tanner) Woodford; brother, Delbert (Blondie) Rohrbach; grandchildren, Melissa and Nicole Beck, Karen (Sam) Janes, Steven (Kristy) Beck, Sarah (Ron) Heitzler, Renae Beck, Courtney (Jason) Silvernagel, and Kelsey (Tyler Beck) Woodford; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceding Lorraine in death are her parents; husband, Morris Beck; six siblings; and one grandchild.
