John Voeller

John T. Voeller, 27, of Aberdeen, SD, died Thursday, February 22, at Select Specialty Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

John T. Voeller was born on June 28, 1996, to Scott and Nancy (Simpson) Voeller in Aberdeen, SD. He grew up and attended school in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 2014. After graduation he worked at 3M for a short time.

John enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering Card Game. He loved Ketchup and ate it with everything! He liked gaming online and spending time with friends and family. He loved all his family, especially his grandmother who he had a special relationship with, playing with the children. He was a good-hearted, gentle giant. He had warm hugs, smiled often, and always made people laugh. He was a selfless person and always said,” I Love You.”

Grateful for having shared John’s life are his father, Scott Voeller; grandfather, William (Maureen) Simpson; aunts and uncles: Earl Voeller, Wayne Voeller, Tammy Webster, Lisa Hedlund, Lana Feekes, Deb Walker, Pam Olson, Lori Simpson, Megan Aussprung, and Emily Simpson, and all their families; and Godmother, Angie Stephen.

Preceding John in death are his mother, Nancy Voeller; grandparents: Richard and Phyllis Voeller; grandmother, Bonnie Simpson; and uncle, Merle Voeller.
