James Buechler

James M. Buechler, 63, of Aberdeen SD, passed away on September 2, 2022, at his home.

James M. Buechler was born May 4, 1959 to Walter and Marlyene (Schwan) Buechler in Aberdeen, South Dakota.  He was raised in Leola, SD where he attended and graduated High School.  Jim then moved to Aberdeen and began working at 3M, where he worked in the shipping and receiving department.  

He married Bobbie J. Frost on September 1, 1984, in Aberdeen where they continued to make their home.  To this union, three children were born: Josh, Trey, and Preston.

Jim enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go camping with his family, and he also enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He enjoyed spending time in his backyard, sitting by the fire pit, and loved spending time in his man cave.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Bobbie; his sons: Josch (Allie) Buechler of Aberdeen, Trey (Christine) Buechler of Sioux Falls, SD, and Preston (Joanna) Buechler of Monticello, MN; brother Todd (Sharmen) of Aberdeen; Sisters:  Sandy (Bonnie) of Westport, SD and Lori (Lonny) Lux of Aberdeen; and eight grandchildren: Portia, Sophia, Lydia, Chloe, Kennadae, Lincoln, Ella, and Lucy.

Jim was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
