Delores A. Singer

Delores Anna Singer, 90, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Bethesda Home of Aberdeen.

Delores Anna Huber was born on the family farm in Campbell County, SD, on July 31, 1933, to Robert and Martha (Lang) Huber. She was raised alongside five siblings on the farm and attended local country schools.

Delores was united in marriage to Albert Singer on September 2, 1951, in Herreid, SD. They made their home together on a farm near Eureka, SD, where they raised four daughters: Linda, Quinda, Pam, and Roxanne. Delores worked tirelessly side-by-side with Albert, helping raise black Angus cattle while also being a dedicated mother and homemaker! Delores and Albert retired from farming in 2000 and moved to Aberdeen, where they lived together until Albert passed away in April 2018. Delores continued to make Aberdeen her home.

In her free time, Delores enjoyed gardening, reading, and was a talented seamstress! She especially loved sharing her cooking with friends and family. Her greatest treasures were all her grandchildren, which she adored.

Delores is survived by her daughters: Linda Lickfelt of Aberdeen, SD, Quinda Osborn of Aberdeen, SD, Pam (Steve) Sudlow of Aberdeen, SD, and Roxanne (Mike) Weisbeck of Herreid, SD; sister, LaVonne (Gerhardt) Ketterling of Wishek, ND; sister-in-law Vicky Huber Mayville, WI; grandchildren: Bridget, Collin, Jason, Jeff, Victoria, Andrea, Billy, Nick and Clayton; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding Delores in death were her parents, Robert and Martha; husband, Albert; three brothers; one sister; and one grandson.
