He attended all his schooling in Sioux Falls and graduated from Sioux Falls Lincoln High School in 2007. Following graduation, he went to WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming. On August 2, 2014, he married Elizebeth Wegleitner in Britton, SD. They were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Owen, in May 2022. They were currently living in Mansfield where Andrew had redone their whole home. He was able to make the house a home for his family and they enjoyed the peace and quiet they found there.
