Adeline Elizabeth Fischer was born on January 20, 1934, to Sylvester and Martha (Meier) Fischer in Ipswich, SD. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school.

Adeline worked in the food industry as a cook and worked in various restaurants in Aberdeen. Her last place of employment was at Aberdeen Health and Rehab. Adeline worked up until she was eighty years old. She had a passion for flowers, and in the summer months, it was quite apparent by the lovely display of her planters filled with flowers. Adeline loved spending time with her family and friends and looked forward to holidays so everyone could be together.
